POLITICAL GAMING ......

We  are all living nowadays  the great saga of our national  government shut down and it's  possible  sequels .

Most Americans  agree , that  sometimes  both  parties  are  wrong , in their governance  and  political  decisions , but  this  time  we  all  know  that  one  party  is  wrong  and  responsible  for  this  masquerade  and  it's  possible  very  dangerous  aftermath .

Certain  misguided   GOP  members   and  more  so , mostly  young  and pompous  tea  partiers , managed  to  usher  themselves  and  the  country  into  a  tight  windowless  corner  room , and  now obviously , they  don't  have  the  know how , the  courage  nor the will  to  bring  themselves  and  the  country  out  of  this  fix .

Strangely ,  It  seems  no  one  is  really  interested  to  show  them  the  way  out , not  their  own party members  or  the  others   across  the  isle . The  country  and  eventually , the  fragile  world  economic  stability  could  be  at  stake .

A " pure  act  of  idiocy "  Warren  Buffett  called  it , a  very  surprising  situation  the  country  is  in  , to  say  the  least . Pomposity  and  personal  political  goals  should  have  no  place  in  the  political  system  and   governing  decisions .  But , this  is  our  responsibility  as   voters , isn't  it  ?? maybe  after  all ,   we  are  the  first  party  to  be  blamed .

A  quick  and  honest  opinion  as  to  our  present  governmental  situation , thank  you  all  for  listening .

  1. Agree with your take on this farcical situation brought about by the radicalization of the republican party or
maybe it's highjacking by a few who are getting their way for some reason. Surely they should realize that they will pay for this during the next elections,as you suggest they might.

It makes for great entertaining drama and we can all sit back and enjoy the show, except it's playing dice and gambling with not only the US, but the whole world's economy and people's livelihood.

It's called governance by crisis, and we have not seen the end of it yet. Prepare for round two in January, round three comes up in February and so on and so forth. it's irresponsible, dangerous, and paints the democratic process in a poor light.
