The Biden administration is continuing the devastating cycle of endless war, on Feb. 25, president Biden ordered airstrikes on militia allegedly backed by Iran, in eastern Syria. Days later, rockets were launched on an airbase housing U.S. troops in western Iraq, further escalating the situation of hit and get hit back, then hit again.
Obviously the U.S. is being dragged into this situation and a further possibility of a total war engulfing Iran, Iraq, Syria and very likely Lebanon and Israel. Plus the situation in the Persian/Arab gulf, Yemen, Libya, and Palestine itself, or whatever is left of it, all this while Israel has been for more than 2 years actively adding a new atomic reactor to its existing one in Dimona in the Israeli negev desert, and their hundreds of existing nuclear heads, playing as the only legit nation with the right to own and possibly execute nuclear attacks in an area the size of Europe.
The Israelo/American attacks and occupation have fueled instability, caused immense suffering, created millions of displaced and millions of refugees, and cost millions of lives. It all strictly only benefited Zionist Israel and its present fanatical zealous regime and war machine. Their obsessions with colonial old dreams and hegemony to restore Biblical prophecies, while destroying all their neighbors. This status quo has got to go, It is high time to admit that we cannot bomb our way to peace and order, diplomacy has to reign again.
Because we've been there, in similar situations before, we've also learned what works and what doesn't, at least in principle, there is one straight forward, simple way, we stop the cycle of endless war, get U.S. troops out of conflicts zones, out of harm's way, and stop them from deepening or causing new harm. Let's bring them home, and let's better control our allies into less war attitude, less hegemony, and better coexistence with their different neighbors.
For years now, bit by bit, the U.S. and its closest allies have become more entwined in what soldiers call it "the forever war". And what insures a complete supremacy of the war machine over all of our governments and people. Many of our friends and neighbors have known and lived this war their entire adult lives, it has defined the modern American experience, it is expanding rapidly now to many friendly and not so friendly countries in the Middle-East, and beyond.
This situation has to come to an end. In 2021 ending the forever war, the U.S. and all others have to stop behaving as such, and give diplomacy and negotiations a better chance of settling conflicts and issues. we have the absolute capability of doing and enforcing that. Here it is the people and congress duty to pressure any and all administrations to declare and abide once more that enough is enough.
The decision to put our boys and girls in harm's way is too important to rest with any one person, Republican or Democrat. We can be so much better, invest seriously in so much more at home and show the world more enlightened leadership, and save ourselves many trillions of Dollars wasted on the forever war, and usurper countries and entities.
